5 effective home remedies to get rid of wrinkles
As we get older, our body produces less collagen, so our skin loses its elasticity and the ability to renew itself.
As the age progresses, the skin cells divide more slowly and the inner layer of the skin begins to thin. This layer, called “dermis”, prevents sagging, wrinkling, and streaking of the skin. As you age, the skin loses its ability to retain moisture and produce fat, all of which contribute to the formation of wrinkles.
Smoking prevents the production of collagen, which is an important part of the skin structure. Collagen is a natural amino acid that stops skin aging, reduces wrinkles and strengthens hair and nails.
There are many easy natural treatments to help reduce wrinkles and prevent the formation of new ones.
Natural recipes to get rid of wrinkles:
Aloe vera:
Aloe vera plant contains malic acid that helps to reduce wrinkles by increasing the elasticity of your skin.
Cut one aloe vera leaf and remove the gel. Apply fresh gel to your skin and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash with warm water.
Another option is to mix a teaspoon of aloe vera gel with a vitamin E capsule. Apply the mixture to areas of wrinkles. Leave for half an hour and then wash with warm water.
Ginger:
Ginger works as an excellent anti-wrinkle solution due to its high antioxidant content. Moreover, it helps prevent elastin degradation, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles and fine lines.
• Mix one teaspoon of a grated ginger teaspoon with honey. Eat this mix every morning.
• You can also drink ginger tea twice a day.
Lemon juice:
Lemon juice acts as a strong peeler and is rich in citric acid that helps you get rid of dead skin cells. It also works as a cleansing agent to help reduce other signs of aging such as dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines, and dark circles.
• Gently apply lemon juice to your skin. Wait 5 or 10 minutes and rinse your face with water. Do this two to three times a day.
• Alternatively, you can mix yogurt, honey, vitamin E oil and lemon juice in equal amounts from all of them (one teaspoon). Spread on your face and leave for 15 to 20 minutes before washing.
• Another option is to apply lemon juice mixed with amla fruit powder (gooseberry) to treat wrinkles and delay aging.
Banana
Banana is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that fight wrinkles and fine lines. Using twice a week will revitalize your skin and treat wrinkles naturally.
• Crush two ripe bananas to obtain a puree. Apply this to wrinkled areas. Leave for at least half an hour and then wash with warm water. Then apply a moisturizing cream.
• Alternatively, you can mash and use a banana and an avocado with some honey. Apply to skin, wait 20 minutes and then wash.
Olive oil:
Olive oil is the perfect massage oil for your skin. It is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin A and vitamin E that fight free radicals that damage the skin.
• Regularly massaging the affected skin with olive oil moisturizes, repairs and even renews skin cells. As the oil penetrates deep into the skin, it provides long-term protection and moisturizes.
• Another option is to mix a few drops of honey with a few drops of olive oil and glycerin. Massage the skin twice daily using the mixture. This will eliminate dead cells and help tighten sagging skin.
• You can massage your skin with coconut oil, emu oil, almond oil or vitamin E oil to prevent and reduce wrinkles.
